The Undomestic Goodness by Sophie Kinsella is another feel-good-book which is perfect as a beach reading.
In Swedish the titel of this book is "Karriär och köksbesvär" which is kind of a strange but also a perfect titel for this book. The story is about a over ambitious career woman that one day finds out she has made a massive mistake at work and in full panic she rush away from London out on the countryside where she takes a job as a housekeeper. The problem is that this career woman practically has never prepared a dinner in her whole life and is totally unable to take care of a house.
This is a typical chick-lit about career, friendship and love. It is well written and funny like most of the Sophie Kinsella books. The books engage and makes you smile and it is perfect as a book to bring with you on a relaxing holiday at the beach.
