Milan is regulated by a 'central heating system'. It means everyone and everywhere in Milan will have the same temperature at home. In between may and October is was completely turned off and a week ago it was colder inside the houses than outside. The days might still be nice, sunny and quite warm but the evenings and nights are now cold and without heating at home it's a nightmare.
Anyway, on Saturday they turned the heating on for whole Milan and my house is now boiling hot. I slept with the window open tonight. But better too warm than too cold I guess.
Idiotic system, such waste of energy. Italy Italy.... what can I say...
