It was almost one year ago my mum retired but yesterday we celebrated it with a fancy dinner at Operakällaren, the restaurant of the Royal Opera. Joining at the dinner was all the people that retired from SÖS (södersjukhuset) during 2012, I wild guess is that we were around 200 people.
Many find operakällaren to be one of Sweden's most beautiful restaurant with its elegant and luxury interior. The opera terrace was beautiful and offered a magnificent view of the royal palace and the surrounding waters. I have never been there for dinner before so it was fun to experience it. Very nice actually.
