Isola d'Elba - Capoliveri

One morning we decided not to go straight to the beach for once but instead pass the picturesque little town Capoliveri.

Capoliveri is an old town located on a hill ca 130 meters above sea level. I felt in love with this place. So pretty. So romantic. We walked hand in hand on the tiny little streets and looked at the big amount of restaurants, bars and shops that Capolieri offers. The central piazza, with a beautiful view of Stella Gulf and the nearby island, felt so peaceful that I wanted to stay there even if the sun hit hard and we almost melted away.

We also visited the weekly market on our way up but didn't find anything to buy, for once... ;)

We only visited Capoliveri once, in the early morning but I am sure it is even nice and more romantic in the evening and if I ever go back to Elba I really want to pass a whole evening there.
