Night shopping

Last minute plan and instead of meeting up friends for drinks I went shopping.

Tonight the shops in Milan were open until 1am!
1am? I would like to know who is out shopping at 01 in the morning on a Wednesday? I can understand special nights until 10pm or even 11pm but 1 am feels ridiculous. I just feel sorry for the people working in the shops. However, I went out shopping straight after work, went through more and less all shops in Corso Buenos Aires and ended my shopping tour after more than 3 hours at 10pm. In these three hours I only bough one bikini and one pair of sun glasses but I had some fun trying on millions of things. The shoes and the green dress I was out for was not found :(

I very rarely go out shopping in Milan. Not even once a month actually. I prefer go shopping in Stockholm or London actually but from time to time it is fun.

Puglia-holiday planning at Navigli

 

Next week I should be off for my next holiday. My childhood friend Cicci and I gonna explore the southern Italy again (we were in Calabria last year) but this year we are off to Puglia.

Tonight I have been out with a friend from the area that gave me lots of advises and tips for our holiday and now I am on skype with Cicci to plan the last things. I just can't wait to go!

Birthday sushi with Stefii

 

Stefii is finally back in town and yesterday I met her up to celebrate her 30th birthday with sushi, drinks and presents at Wasabii.

Lack of training motivation

After four amazing months at the Virgin Fitness Village and then one month at the fancy and fun Audace Gym I must admit that my motivation for going training at 20hours gym is quite low. I am spoiled by these amazing gym chains, I can't say anything else. 

Today I dragged myself to the gym. I didn't even have time to do a course so I went running for 15 minutes and then I did some upper body training, abbs and a quick stretch. Not even an hour. And I had to force myself doing it. I felt good getting our but I am not motivated to go back.... how is this gonna end...?

Off for sushi with Stefii now :)

Beach Sunday at Cogoleto

A whole day in Cogoleto with just beach, sun, friends, sea, swim, drinks, ice creams, food and relax.

BBQ and beach party at Baraonde

Last night we organized a little BBQ at Francii's place. 10 people and lots lots of food to grill. The view you see on the pics are from the Francii's wonderful terrace were we had the bbq. Not bad eh? 

After the dinner we all went dancing at a beach disco called Baraonde.

A day in Nervi

Arrived to Genova at lunch time, was picked up on the moto by Francii and went to Nervi beach with some friends.  Beautiful day!

After the beach we stoppad by Brandys and now we are at home preparing for tonights bbq :-)

Ciao ciao Audace gym

 

Stephanie and I started at the Audace gym one month ago doing a body pump class. Tonight we finished out membership doing the same class together. 

Reading here you can see my first opinions about this gym but I must say I have changed my mind. It might not be big and fancy like the Virgin Fitness village. It is not cheap like 20 hours. But it has got far the best instructors and fitness classes of all of them. Whatever class I have been attending it has been absolutely great. 

It has been a really great fun month of training and if the circumstances would had been different I would had signed up immediately.

 

 

After the training Steppy and I went to "Gelateria Fior di Latte" for a yammi icecream.

And then I got home, talked on skype to my sweet friend Cicci and we finally managed to book the hotels for out upcoming holiday.

Get hot. Get fit. Have fun. Do zumba!

Today I missed the step dance class I was planning to attend and instead I joined the class afterwards, Zumba. After been having some absolute great zumba masterclasses at Virgin Active I wasn't really interested to try the zumba class at the Audace gym, it could never be as good as the masterclasses anyway... right...?

Oh I was so wrong! I got into the class and forgot all about training and exercising and just danced my head off. The teacher was the same the one having the step dance, a really good and crazy dancer. And the funny thing is that I was surrounded by girls having as fun as me, smiling throughout the whole class and just danced the most as they could. The hour passed far to quickly and I got out looking like a sweaty pig but it was absolutely great.

Now at home I am fixing in my room and I am listening to a zumba mix cd.... I know, I am crazy. But I can't help it, I just love it!

Ape with Sabrii at Deseo

 

Finally Milan have got the amazingly warm evenings that I just adore.

After work tonight my colleague Sabrina and I went straight out for a refreshing apertivo at Deseo. Unfortunately the terrace was full and we had to sit inside but it was nice anyway.

We ended the evening with a walk around Sempione park.

The evenings should be like that all year around!
