Shopaholic Abroad by Sophie Kinsella
I like vary my reading with different kinds of books. And, sometimes I just fancy reading those most stupid chick lits that just makes you laugh. Most of the times they are perfect feel good books. Many years ago I read the book "Confessions of a shopaholic" and not long after I bough the second book "Shoppaholic abroad" but I have just kept it at home until now when I finally managed myself reading it.
It was a funny book with lots of humor and the main character is hilarious. I can't say it was one of those really good books giving me lots. Neither one of those books that I would like all my friends to read, but it was good in its own kind of way. And I actually fancy getting and reading the third book in the series as well....

I miss the summer!
The winter has hardly started and I already miss the summer! Today I watched some beach pics from the summer and I almost felt bad...
Three more months and in Milan at least the spring will start.

In need of a workout
Today I did my last Christmas shopping in Milan. Finally done! Today it was only the eatable things left to get so I didn't even have to hustle around the over crowded city centre.
The weather in Milan is extremely boring and today I haven't done a lot apart from the food shopping so when I finally got to the gym in the last afternoon I felt relief. If I don't move and work out I feel bad and I sleep less well.
I went for one hour of Body Toning, shaping up the whole body with Edith Piaf music. No comments. In the weekend you never know what instructor to meet at the gym, always a surprise. Today wasn't bad but the music wasn't overly motivating...

Home made pizza, football and movie
Yesterday I discovered how easy it is to make pizzas at home so now I gonna start doing it more often adding all different kinds of topping.
After the pizza we watched Lazio-Inter and later on the lovely Christmas movie "Love Actually".
Lazy but nice Saturday evening.

Yesterday's office Christmas event was very very nice. I got a great and funny table and ate well. Too bad the place was far outside town and the roads were full of snow, otherwise I would have loved to stay much longer than just until midnight.

Thank you Givenchy for lots of food
When I was working at Givenchy everyday they gave me a food ticket to be used to lunches, dinners or food shopping at the super market. For some kind of reason I haven't been using all of them yet (some supermarkets doesn't accept them) so today, two weeks before they expire I went to the super market to get spend the last ones.
Happily I got home with all these things spending just 50 cent. Not bad eh? :)

Cycling and reading
Bad news arriving at the gym this morning... Both the normal instructor and the extra one has been blocked by the snow and the courses had been cancelled.
So instead I sat down on the cycle and went cycling for 30 minutes while reading my book followed by some shoulders, back and abbs exercises.

More winterpics from Milan
I hate when it is cold but I have to admit that a white winter is better than a rainy one....
Off to the gym, will add pics from yesterday's Christmas party later.

Christmas spirit at work
Good morning beautiful white Milan
Second time we get snow in Milan this year but last time it lasted just few hours, this time I hope we will be able to keep it a bit longer.
Two I guess I was one of very few people in Milan jumping up from bed super happy controlling that the snow they had promised on the meteo really had arrived. As a true and organised Swede I got out earlier than normal, took some pics and rushed up to the train station... and believe it or not but the train passed in perfect timing.
