Fiera dell'Artigianato Milano is the enormous handcraft fair that every December visits Milan. It is full of home made things and food from all around Italy. It is massive, we went for more than four hours and maybe we saw half of it. However it is very nice and they sell the most lovely, pretty and  unique things.

Dinner at Jazz Cafè

Dinner at Ristorante Jazz Cafè turned out to be an absolute hit. I have been to Jazz Cafè before but just for aperitivo or drinks whitch is nice too but the dinner was delicous. I had one of the best Spageghetti allo scoglio even eaten while my friend Giorgio had a very nice grilled tuna.

Afternoon tea at Giusto Gusto

Its been a long and busy day... and it still not over.

After the Christmas markets I picked up Stefano and joined him for mega clothes shopping in town. Men and shopping is something very different from women and shopping I realized. I can stroll around for hours looking in different shops and buying small things all over. Stefano today went to one shop and got himself a complete outfit in just 10 minutes. Impressive.

After the quick shopping trip we sat down for a slightly slower afternoon tea at Giusto Gusto by Maria Marioni. Very elegant and pretty bakery/cafeteria in the heart of Milan.

Now I better relax few minutes before I have to get ready for the nice dinner out tonight. I am already hungry and just can't wait for it...

Christmas markets in Milan

After my brunch I went to look at two of Milans Christmas markets, first "Mercatino di Natale" in Duomo and then "Fiera Oh Bej Oh bej" close to the castle. Both very pretty and Christmas spirity :)

I also passed Rinascente to say hi to Danii, Nadia, Donna and other ex colleagues. Had already forgot what a nightmare Rinscente is on Saturdays...

Brunch at Art & Flowers

I haven't seen Tamara in more than two months so I was so happy to finally be able to meet today, then it got even better when she took me to such pretty little brunch place.

Art & Flowers is close to Piazza Cinque giornata, makes breakfast, brunches and it is even a wine bar in the evening.

I had a very nice English breakfast that kept me full the whole afternoon.

Once a year movie - The Holiday

The holiday is one of my absolutely favorite movies and I have made it a tradition to see it once a year around Christmas time.

Yesterday it was snowing heavily in Milan and the idea to go out late in the evening didn't fancy me too much so I just stayed in by myself watching The holiday. As great as always!

First time at Maison du Monde

Look at all the snow outside the store...

Maison du Monde, what a paradise! I love IKEA but I must say its neighbor outside Milan Maison du Monde is nicer! Not for furnitures and not for the prices but they things they sell are just in my taste; chick and cute!

Luisa and I spend two hours strolling around and if it wasn't for its uncomfortable location (just like IKEA) I would had gone back very soon.
