A great evening with the 'Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy' colleagues

What I thought would be a good but calm dinner with the LVMH group ended up being a fantastic night out. We went to the restaurant Mason Espana - a gorgeous place in Abbiategrasso and like yesterday I would guess we were around 60-70 people. We got a four course fish and sea food meal, I ate a lot but not as much as yesterday so today at least I don't feel sick when going to bed. We obviously drank Moet Champagne as that also is part of the LVMH group :)

During the whole dinner there were three hostess's arranging games and competitions which were lots of fun to look. After the dinner the party got started and people were dance all over the place; also me, my colleagues and my manager. So much fun.

What is less fun is that I am now on my way to bed knowing that in 4 hours the alarm is gonna kick me out of the bed, zzz.

The Givenchy director had to dress like a Milan fan and sing a whole Milan supporter song to gain ponts to his team, even if everyone knows he's one of the biggest Inter fan of the history.

We got loads loads loads of fancy and luxurious cosmetics from Givenchy and KenzoKi.

Next big business dinner with the LVMH group

So, here we go again, next massive company dinner this time at Mason Espana in South west Milan. I live in north east Milan and wasn't overly impressed by the location choise. I was offered to take a taxi but Miss me choose the underground (I know I'm not normal), anyway will take the cap to get home for sure!

I got here quicker than I thought and now I'm waiting for the gang. Lets see what this big evening' s gonna offer :)

Good morning Chanel

Some mornings when I got five minutes extra I walk the whole Via Sant Andrea to get to work. Via Sant Andrea is one of the most fancy and stylish shopping streets in Milan and I love watching the store windows of Prada, Chanel, Moschino, Miu Miu etc

One of the shops that always manage to make the most stunning windows is Chanel - the brand I would like to hate but that I am slowly slowly starting to love...

Feeling like a butchered pig

I can start of saying that tonight was a good night, we were at the restaurant area of Lotvs which and we were maybe around 60 people, or more. The dinner was amazing, most of the people very nice and I had a good time.

But I feel like a pig because of everything I ate. We got a five course meal, which is quite normal here in Italy, but loads for a little Swede like me - that also never leaves anything on the plate... I especially enjoyed the delicious buffula mozzarella starter and the passion fruit mixed dessert. In other words, it was very very good but I ate too much. Thanks god the company paid the taxi home as I could hardly move when I got up from my chair.

I feel butchered because of some people that was there... Most people working in my company are amazingly nice and they do all they can to make me feel like one of the group b u t, like in most working places there are people that puts all their energy to try to squeeze you down and feel bad. Why they do it is something I don't know but might have to do with their own self confidence all I know is that it's bloody annoying. I manage to have a person like this close to me part of the evening and I had to hear bullshit talking why me, as I'm not a real make up artist, should not had been offered a new contract, that I'm a fake person as I'm always happy and smiling etc etc.

I got sad but then I thought; I was offered the contract for e reason and it was because I'm doing a good job and because people like me for the one I am, so f**k off ;)

Anyway, I came home feeling happy. Givenchy is such amazing company and there are so many very nice, intelligent and professionally people working there. I'm really lucky that I'm part of the big Givenchy family!! :)

Off to a business dinner with Givenchy

Just got home from work to try to study a bit before I have to rush out again. Tonight I'm going for dinner with everyone working for Givenchy in Italy at restaurant 'Lotvs Ramazzotti'. They booked the table at 21.30 and I must say I feel that's a bit late for a Monday dinner, especially as tomorrow I start working at 9am....

Aperitivo @ Ciu's with Daniele

Tonight I fiiiiiiiinally manage to catch up with Daniele. We got to knew each other when I just moved to Milan and even if we live like 10 minutes walking distance from each other we haven't for unknown reasons manage to meet in the last 6(!!!) months.

However tonight we met and as both Frank and Diana Majestic (our first two bar choises) were closed we ended up at Ciu's - a very nice and popular bar close to Lima. I had two fantastic fruit cocktails and some unhealthy food :)

Now I'm off to bed, tomorrow's gonna be a long day!

New year but not a new life...

I don't like the fact of being in a new year but nothing has changed from the previous year. Three years ago I was starting the new year with a new job and last year the year might have started of very caotic but ended up being one of the best years of my life - and very different from the previous year, a real new life.

But this year starts of with no changes at all, and it feels boring. I think I gonna come up with a change, just need to find out what kind of change, any suggestions?

Now I'm on my way to meet a friend I haven't seen since June :)

Today I feel lazy

Sitting on the tram on my way to work, I just didn't feel like walking all the way (40-45 minutes) so when I saw the tram coming I jumped on. But for some kind of reason I feel bad about it as my daily walk to work is more and less my only exercise I do.

Yesterday evening I was supposed to go to the cinema but ALL evening movies were fully booked so I ended up staying home. Relaxing but boring.

I slept quite bad last night so I'm very tierd today and I don't really fancy working. But today I gonna work with our new girl Daniella and I'm at least looking forward to that - she's brasilian and she seems very sweet.

The dead day... The city is desert and noone is doing anything...
I woke up at 1pm and made a nice brunch for me and Rosella. Could had stayed eating sandwishes, pandoro and talking bullshit the whole day but we both had plans and had to rush out.
I went to meet Marcello (on the pic) and we went for a walk and to corso como for a coffee. Realized that last time I saw him was in June so it was nice to meet again.
Now I'm on my way back home again and I'm not sure what to do tonight. I'm quite tired so I woudln't mind staying in...

New year's party

So in the end I went to a big dinner / party yesteday. We were 19 people eating a 5 course meal, celebrating the new year, singing karaokee and playing games. Started off the new year in a fun but calm way - and without taking any pictures (almost).
