My best friend's wedding

 Best friends since 25 years
Bye bye and thanks for a great wedding weekend :)

To make it short I just would like to say it was a great day.
Erika had planned every moment extremely carefully which made the day, the planning and the activities very pleasant and simple for the guests. Jens and Erika had chosen, as you can see from the photos above really beautiful locations for both the hotel stay, the church and the dinner party.

Thank you Erika and Jens for an unforgettable day.

All about wedding preparation

Me out shopping this afternoon

Tomorrow is one of my best friend's wedding.
Erika and Jens are getting married just outside Stockholm.

And today has been all about prepare and buy things for it. It might sound quick and easy but I can promise you that it wasn't.

Now I can't wait to get the party started and share this massively important and amazing day with Erika.

Just another very busy Stockholm-day

Thursday and just a normally busy day for my new Stockholm life.

Wake up at nice - Walk out the day - Breakfast.

Study - prepare the seminar -Go to school - Seminar and presentation of the work I have done last week.
I hate oral presentations in front of lots of people, but hey, I survived.

Go to PUB - exchange the broken suitcase from last weeks trip to Stockholm
(will write more about that later)

Go home - 30 minutes relax - wow

Met a friend and took a 90 minutes walk around Kungsholmen - another beautiful sutset over another part of Stockholm.

Dinner with dad at Ko Phangang - one of my three favorite thai places in Stockhom.

Some study reading and then off to bed.

A wednesday at Café Opera

Getting ready to get out
Starting of with a glas of rosé

 Ex student friend from KTH
 Cicci and ...someone
My French study busy at university
 Cicci and I

Café Opera is one of the fanciest night clubs in Stockholm. It has always been. Already 10 years ago when I hanged out at the night clubs in Stockholm it was one of the most popular places to go to.

Yesterday Cicci and I went out, mostly just to take a glas of wine, but we ended up having a great night out meeting lots of fun people.

SATS - Welcome back into my life!

SATS! Sats! Sats!

So many times on this blog I have been writing about things that I missed with Sweden while being abroad. Family, friends, horses and sats. And here we go, I am back in Stockholm and I have finally signed up to my favourite gym & training chain in the world.

In London I went to Fitness first, Cannons health club and Danceworks. They were all good, especially danceworks was all my style with great fitness and dancing classes but the place itself was discounting.

In Milan I have been a member of 20Hours, Virgin active and Audace. 20hours was good for the price and a few classes were good, but once again discounting changing rooms. Virgin active was great, with good classes and a lovely spa section but far too high prices. Audace was great too with great classes (the best in Italy) but the gym itself was too small.

Sats instead got it all. They have centres all over Stockholm and most of them are big and nice. The classes are really really good. The instructors amazing. And also most of the crowd training at sats are nice and inspiring people.

I have been looking forward this day for so long so you can image how happy I am today when I am finally a member of SATS again :-)

Above is the massive lunch I had after the first class, body pump, today.

Waynes with Anna and Stella's new haircut

Slowly slowly I am managing to meet up all my old friends. Last night I met up Anna for a chai latte at Waynes. Anna is pregnant and will give birth in just a month and I am so exited, I will be here in Stockholm seeing the baby all from the start :-)

Yesterday, for the first time, we brought along Stella to a true dog hair dresser.
Stella before (above) and after (below). She was much prettier before the cut. But after she looks more like the fashionable Chinese crested - powder puff -dog she is.
