Gelateria Marghera with Una

Milano's most famous gelateria that everyone know about and that you can read about in most guide books... The ice cream is good for sure but I'm not sure I think it's THAT good. However, tonight me and Una decided to go back there (we used to go there last year) for a refreshing ice cream and some Sweden talk :)

Back in the warm Milan

Sorry for not updating the blog in the last few days. I've been to Stockholm with my boyfriend visiting family and friends. I had the most amazing time (like always when I visit my home town in the summer) and I'm everything but happy to be back in Milan...

Spend the morning unpacking my bag, cleaning, food shopping and just fixing. Now I'm off to work. Pictures from Stockholm will come up later on this week.

Good morning Milan

Sitting on piazza Fontanta eating a croissant. Don't know how but I got to the centre far too early today and I don't start working until 09am. But I don't mind a second breakfast on the square. It's a beautiful evening with 25 degrees and light and fresh winds.

I got my big suitcase with me and I spent the whole evening yesterday packing as I'm this afternoon will fly to Stockholm. It wasn't easy to pack when looking at the meteo online it showed Swedish summer temperatures (around 25 degrees) during the day and almost winter temperatures (around 14 degrees) in the evening. Sigh. But I've done my best.

Can't wait to spend some time "at home" with my loved ones and I really hope the rain will keep away to get the most out of my stay there.

Aperitivo @ Globe

When coming back from Como I directly went to Coin in Piazza V Giornate to have a aperitivo with Steppi and her new boyfriend. It's a beautiful bar with a fantastic view of the west side of Milan. Unfortunately the food is no longer as good as it was once, but at least they had some fresh fruit :)

Now I'm at home and just had a fresh shower and I'm waiting for my boyfriend to arrive that I haven't seen since quite long. So you readers that keep sending me e-mails and askig, no we haven't broke up...

A quick trip to Como

This morning I had to get to work early to help my colleagues to set up the new Givenchy corner. At lunch time I finished work and took of to Como where I had my hair dresser booked. Unfortunately my hair dresser was on holiday and another one cut my hair and I'm not happy at all, sigh.

After the hair dresser I went for a walk along the lake, then to do some clothes shopping and then to have a granita by the lake. All with my friend Marta. A very nice day!

Piazza Duomo

When getting out of the work I had a feeling of being too tired and my head felt like a stone so when two of my colleagues asked me to join for a drink and some chat in piazza Duomo just to clear our heads I happily said yes. After an hour just hanging there and enjoying the warm and nice evening it actually felt much easier to walk home.

Even if it's early I better start getting ready to go to bed as I'm tomorrow have to get up early to go back to work and organize the new Givenchy corner :)

One day as a construction worker

And after... looks a bit sad...

Tonight they're changing the whole cosmetic floor inside Rinascente and it's gonna be a little bit of surprise tomorrow when we arrive to work where they have put our corners...

Today I spent the whole day packing and moving around our products and even if I'm used to always move around in the end of the day I thought I would faith in there; my arms and legs were aching.

But not overly happy to move our Givenchy corner, I gonna miss my Kiehl's, Armani, Colistar and most of all Clinique colleagues but now I hope they will put us next to some other nice people... Will have to wait until tomorrow to see.

Blender Bar with Ilaria and Silvia

Last day of July and also the last day La Rinascente (where I work) close at 22.00 in the evening. Jippi yeay. Me and Silvia survived until 10pm tonight and afterwards Ilaria picked us up and we went to Bar Blender for a drink and some chat. I also went for a ride on Ilaria's moto around Milan :))
