In London!

So now Im here! The trip went well and all on time. The trip from heathrow to Tobi's place felt a bit longer as I was surrounded by some drunk britts that asked me millions of question.

When I finally got to Tobi's place we realised that someone must have been trying to open the padlock I had on my suitcase and that it was destroyed so we couldn't get the key into it. It took us 20 minutes to destroy the whole bag to get my things out and then I had 5 min to get prepared for the party, stress stress.

Anyway, I'm happy to be in London!!!

Lovely Linate

Linate is absolutely one of my favourite airports. There are never long queues, very good serive and now they also have 'panino giusto'. Then that it's just 10 minutes by car from my house is a big plus too. The only thing is that the duty free cost quite a lot so in thet perspective heathrow or jfk wins....

Lets hope Alitalia won't loose my bags as they quite often done in the past ;-)

Packing

How much do I need for 4 days in London? ...when I know I gonna do lots of shopping too. Almost thing would be the answer but I still feel there are lots I HAVE to bring, just in case.

I'm so bad! With all the travel I do and I never learn to pack well, sigh.

Grande serata / Great evening

Soooo..... yesterday I joined together a nice group of friend to go out and have fun together. It was me, Stefii, Tamara with a friend, my colleague Veronica with her friend, Mario and Stefano. Later on also Ilaria joined with two friends. That's how I liked it, lots of people not knowing each other go out together. That's what I used to do in London; organize events and bring together people I knew, so now it's time I start doing it here as well :)

Yesterday we all first went for drinks at the terrace of Pixel in Corso Como. Then we went to Cost for more drinks and dancing and we ended the night at Le Trottoir in Piazza 24 maggio.

Great evening! And even if just slept 4 hours I feel fit for fight to go to London and go out with my friends there :))

LEEEEEELIO!!! My ex flatmate from Bologna was in Milan for a night and of course I had to go and see him. I was very happy as you can see :))

Jazz Cafe'

And so it was, I manage to have the calm Thursday night I wanted. The work I did down the stock really stole my energy and I was almost dead when I walked out from work tonight. A nice and relaxing aperitivo with Stefania, Matteo and a glas of wine was just what I needed to feel good.

Anyway, today has been a good day, in many kinds of aspects and I'll go to bed with a smile.

Different day at work

Today, instead of being up in the store selling make up and perumes I was told to go down and orginize all newly arrived products. I loved the job! I took the word orginize very seriously and I orginized everything super well. Unfortunately I didn'y manage to do everything before I had to get up to the store again and for that I feel a bit disapponited.

Tonight I turned down the gattopardo plans as I feel I need to rest a bit. We were out yesterday, going out tomorrow and for sure I will go out also in London. So tonight just a drink with some friends.

So yesterday we were back at our lovely Old Fashion Cafe. It was a mexican night and the food was so nice. Then it was a live band playing for a while before the 'disco' started. We were a quite big group of people; in the beginning it was Francesca with three friends and me plus three of my friends (Stefii, a new swedish friend; Sofie and Fabrizio) but after a while the group expanded.

For sure we have to re-organize soon again!
