Left Milan with two massive suitcasea of 23kg each plus two hand luggages of 13kg... Thanks god sweetet Torri helped me to get to Linate and then my mum picked me up at the airport in Stockholm.

Very warm evenings...

 

The weather in Milan is getting hotter and hotter. The day temperatures are reaching just below 40 and not even in the evenings it goes below 30. I do not have aircon at home so my major problem is sleeping. However, keeping the windows widely open and letting the fan go all night I actually do manage to sleep some hours.

But well, it is hot. And it is not much I fancy doing when it is That hot. Yesterday I started packing my massive bags for Friday's trip and then I met up with Torri for a lovely refreshing granita at Firodilatte.

A warm day in Lugano

 

Just got back from a really great and fun day in Lugano. Switzerland. I went to meet up with a Swedish friend and to spend the day together with him.

We started off the day renting a pedal boat  for two hours and used it for a little tour on the lake, to take a swim in the middle of the lake and sun bath a little. Great fun idea that I actually never done on the lakes.

After that we took the funicular to get up on the top of the hill Monte San Salvatore, a 912 meter high hill on the east side of Lugano. On the top we had a lovely lunch and took some pictures of the amazing view.

Time just flew and then it was time to get home.

Back in Milan we're having over 35 degrees at 8pm in the evening, puh....

And so, I just got back from my mini weekend in Milano Marittima on the Italian east coast with Silvia, Ilaria and Chiara. A little half girl weekend away which was nice.

I left straight from work yesterday and got there around 9pm, the girls picked me up from the train station and we went almost straight out for dinner. As on most Italian coast places the food is amazing.

The night was kind of calm. We had dinner and then we went for drinks out. In Milano Marittima there is like two blocks of only bars and people can walk or just hang out on the street in between them. The only problem is that at 1.30am they all have to turn off the music.... No comments! After that the only option on Fridays is the well famous and fancy Pineta disco but we decided not to go.

Today we spend all day at the beach to work on out tan. The water on the Romagnola coast unfortunately is not even close to the the sea water down in Puglia. Actually it was quite disgusting. I had one bath only once and spent the rest of the day having cold showers on the beach. How sad is that? We are in Italy...

However, the absolute best part of this little weekend started at 5pm when we went to the after beach party at Papete. It was not like the ones down in Gallipoli but very close. Fun people. Good music. Dancing on the beach. All these things I just love. I could have stayed all night but as we had to drive back we stayed three hours and then we had to start our trip back to Milan...

Time to sleep as tomorrow I am off to Lugano.

Great satisfaction

 

Month closing reconcilations done in only two days. Quicker than ever. I feel so happy.

So to celebrate I now got out of the office and will try to catch the train to Milano Marittima where I am meeting up with three girl frirends.

Dinner at Stefiis place

 

We are all off for holidays at different locations. The central weeks in Italy are The holiday weeks. Many offices closes and Milan gets empty, so we are all leaving for some time...

But before leaving me and my friends met up for a dinner at Stefania's new place. We saw her lovely stylish apartment for the first time and we enjoyed her food and lots of icecream.

My next holiday starts next week actually but today I am off for a weekend at sea with the girls :)

It is the fourth time I see Robbie Willaims live. I have seen him twice in Stockholm and once in Denmark. Today was far the best concert of them all. 

San Siro is amazing as concert arena. It is just massive. Tonight it was full up to the highest seat and they said it was around 70 000 people attending the concert. Total amazing caos. And we were lucky getting really good seats. But well, I bought the tickets in November last year so....

Robbie himself is the same entertainer he has always been. He is just playing on the stage. Playing with his adorable voice and playing with the public. It was a show I never will forget. 

It is late, and I have to sleep. But I know what I gonna dream about.
