Amore 14

In the end I stayed home studying a bit, talked for long on the phone with Johanna and watched "Amore 14" with Francesca. Such nice and sweet movie and I couldn't help letting some tears out :) Beautiful, recommended to all romantic film lovers!

Now I'm off to bed.

Italian movies

To walk around the media stores inItaly is like being in heaven for me. I loooove Italian movies and music!! Maybe I should skip Old fashion club tonight and stay home and watch a romantic Italian movie.... Yeeeaaa :)))

Italian bank holiday

Loreto underground station, which normally always is packed of people all days and all hours is today, at 10.30 empty. It's almost scary. Milaners loves escaping their city and this week lots of people took the opportunity to take 1 day off from work and get a very long weekend to go to the seaside. But not me, I'm on my way to work... :(

The night everyone's out....

...but I'm at home! Tomorrow is some kind of holiday here in Italy and everyone's off so tonight was the nigth when everyone went out. Just Cavalli it is! But not me, I very kindly answered all invites that I wanted to have an easy night at home tonight and here I am by myself in my little room :)

After work I finally went to the supermarket and bought lots of food then I went home having dinner with my flatmate. Since, I've been studying and just now I sent my essay to my teacher. The exam was three questions and I had to write 350-550 words for each question. I know I did questions 1 and 2 well but the 3rd was far to difficult. Lets see what the prof says tomorrow.

Now I'm off to bed. Gonna watch an episode of gossip girls in bed before sleeping. Tomorrow, guess what... another day of 9 hours at Rinascente plus studies in the evening. Funny life, haha =D


I love looking back at old pics and I have now taking my friend's advice to share them online too... Just some nice momories from time to time!

In love with Marc Jacobs perfumes

Since I started working for la Rinascente I've been in love with Marc Jacobs perfume Lola. Every day before I start working I go to the guy responsible for the perfume and spray it all over me. It is very sweet fragrance and normally I don't like that kind but I just love this one!



Today I found my new love, another one from Marc Jacobs - Daisy. It's has Maria written all over this perfume as it's a very fresh and young fragrance and the tipical ones I always fall for. I waaaant it, I want it, I want it!

Tomorrow at work I gonna put together a top 10 perfume list. There are so many amazing ones out there and I start getting an expert in the area, haha :)

The DJ is...

Some weeks ago I was complaining that Rinascente (the departmentstore where I work) played crap music, or even better they played the same 6 songs over and over again a whole weekend which really annoyed me.

Today I realized that it's not Rinascente playing the music, it's whoever is having a promotion in the central area on the ground floor. This week it's Gucci promoting their new men's perfume and they play the latest disco/techno classics on extremly high volume and all the girls working here are dancing around, lots of fun! :)

Cheap travelcard

New month and time to top up the travelcard and again it hits me how cheap it is...

In London I spent 290 pounds for my travelcard (but I worked outside town). A normal one for zone 1-2 in London is around £100. In Stockholm is 690kr. Here in Milan is €30, full price! Students pay €16. And the public transport works very well, much better than in London and Stockholm wer there always is signal problems. The only bad thing here is that a month is always 1st - 30/31st of a month, you can't do 16th of may to 16th of June like in other countries, but hey can't have it all.... :)

24 hours are not enough

I never manage to do all I want in one day. If a day would be at least five hours longer it would help me a lot :)

Tonight I've been studying all evening but I'm far from being done with my essays. I've finished 1/3 at least as I now have the essay done of 400 words about romanticism and the enlightenment in Italy in year 700-800. Very interesting....

Time to go to bed now anyway. Tomorrow it's just another day of working 9 hours and an evening of studies.
